    Gilbert Dukes, Jr., CPA

    Gilbert F. Dukes, Jr., better known as “Tup” Dukes, joined the firm in 1960 and became a partner in 1969. He works in all areas of planning and taxation for individuals, corporations and tax-exempt organizations. He is also experienced in auditing and estate planning and has been an integral part of the firm’s leadership for over 40 years.

    A graduate of Washington and Lee University and the University of Alabama, Tup received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Alabama and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Estate Planning Council, the Mobile Chapter of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA), of which he has served as member of the council and state taxation committee.

    In the community, Tup has served as past president of the Mulherin Custodial Home and on the board of the Mobile YMCA, and two local independent schools. He is a member of Mobile Rotary Club and Ashland Place Methodist Church.
