Mobile’s Lamar Reeves Honored

The Alabama Society of CPAs held its 98th annual members meeting on June 8 and 9, 2017 at the Montgomery Renaissance Hotel and Spa. At their “Celebration of Success” awards program, Mobile CPA and partner in the Smith Dukes accounting firm, Edward Lamar Reeves, was honored as a Life Member of the organization.  Reeves had been a volunteer with the statewide professional membership group since joining Smith Dukes in the 1980s.  In fact, his volunteerism has been so profound that the award was named the E. Lamar Reeves Life Member Award in his honor. 

 Lamar Reeves, Partner, Smith Dukes Accounting Firm, Mobile AlabamaReeves has served in officer positions of the Mobile Chapter of the ASCPA, on the ASCPA Board of Directors, as its chair in 2013/14.  In addition, he is completing a second term as a member of the American Institute of CPAs’ governing council.
